Leverage WATCH IT!

Don't know how else to explain that one. Leverage is a TNT original series that is currently on it's third season. The season premier was two weeks ago and with the third episode coming up on Wednesday, and every Wednesday, at 10 PM.

The show is about a group of 5 people, one of who is on sabbatical during this season and the half of last (which is slightly lame), who are effectively rob from the rich and give to the poor. A modern day Robin Hood tale with high tech computers and a "How we did it" ending.

The team's members include.

  • Eliot Spencer - The Hitter
  • Parker - The Thief
  • Alec Hardison - The Hacker
  • Sophie Devereaux - The Grifter
  • Nathan Ford - The Mastermind

Originally was going to give links to character profiles but the pages were so load heavy that just linking to TNT's home page for Leverage is enough. That link can be found above.

It's a cool show with great humor, awesome action and a good plot to each episode. The running story is slightly nonexistent, even in the earlier episodes where the story was obvious, but as it's a TV show such things can be let go.

TARBOY (Animated Film)

A not an aniBOOM film, this is done by someone independent of that. Originally found on newgrounds after a random bout of amusement search which was loosely suggested.

TARBOY - Original Film

The most amusing part, in personal opinion, is how one suggestion which is only mildly amusing can lead to something like this. It's well done be it drawn by hand or not (It's a flash animation for those who could not tell.) and has an interesting story. Bet that if there is a two Solve Unamusement will find it, maybe.

Misson Edpossible

Some Ed, Edd and Eddy for all of those around. Anyone not familiar with the show only need to know that Ed (with one D) is the dumbest of the group Eddy is the schemer and Edd (Double D to his friends) is the brains. Originally Ed, Edd and Eddy's adventures were based around their summer vacation while trying to scam other kids out of their cash in order to get money for jawbreakers.

However, many of the later episodes were based around the winter/fall and the school year as a whole. This episode is that case. The basic idea is that it's report card time and as Ed isn't very bright and Eddy just doesn't pay attention their report cards are bad. The problem, though, is that the teachers know if Ed and Eddy are given their own report cards that they will alter them.

Faderhead (Techno Oddness?)

Was linked to this, today, by a friend some might know as Shard. To appreciate this music and video let us break down it's elements.

Video Elements

What that comes together to is something very interesting. The song itself is the main reason why Solve Unamusement is addressing it. While being a bit mindless/repetitive it is amusing. The visuals don't exactly hurt, either.

Wizard of Oz (HISHE)

The Wizard of Oz is a wonderful story filled with really long walks on yellow roads and silly sidekicks. HISHE has this to say, "It was too long and didn't make rational sense." Well, that's what is gotten from their ending, at least. Beowulf got a similar treatment, you might remember it.

Imagine, if you will, The Wizard of Oz ending shortly after the house falls from the sky and kills some random witch female with really long stripped legs. Not to mention that the munchkins carry weapons then never use.

HISHE - Wizard of Oz

Personally, I enjoy the ending with a bit of gusto. Always glad to hear when someone reads exactly what a movie is saying. Indeed they didn't get what they asked for, anyway.

Shaiya II

While the original game isn't any personal fun and was even ditched a bit quickly by the suggester, Shaiya is a pretty game. The game had cool looking graphics (I guess), even on the lowest settings with interesting combat skills and other things of that nature.

But back to the point of this post. While searching for Shaiya things such as gameplay videos and trailers I cam accross the Shaiya II trailer which was rleased back in summer of 2009. It's a cool video and if anyone who liked the first game who is like me and didn't care about the Aeria community all that much beyond their own game, this might interest.

Shaiya II Trailer

Supposedly to be released next year though information on the game wasn't searched for as the trailer itself was what was cool. If Solve Unamusement was to honestly suggest an MMORPG it would be Perfect World International.

Just In Case... (Dr. Tran)

Just in case you missed it, here's a nail to the gut. That's right, Dr. Tran with episode seven of "Dr. Tran Fan Mail" is out. It was out as of the last Dr. Tran post but the other one was book marked first. This one was linked in the post but not everyone here, reads.

Dr. Tran Main

That's right campers, this post is called "Phoning It In" turn in next week when I think about trying. Key word there is think about it, we'll see what happens.
